Yosemite in a Day

If it seems remarkable that you can be at the beach one day, and the mountains the next… well it is... That’s why we love it here!

We did this Gems of Yosemite trip a few months ago and loved everything about it.

The roadtrip takes off across California’s Central Valley, through fields of almond trees and rolling golden hills. Take in the views while you catch up on your Yosemite history, and the fascinating counter-culture and competition of world-class climbers.

Once approaching Yosemite, your tour includes stops for amazing vistas and instagram-worthy snaps, a stroll through the Yosemite Village, and then a chance to telescope in on tiny specs on the mountain face that turn out to be climbers in action.

If weather and road conditions allow, take a trek through a grove of giant sequoias.

After all the hiking, you’ll be content to snooze on the way back to the Bay Area, with lungs full of mountain air and a phone full of memories.
